New Provincial Record Fish
Duane Farden managed to land a new Provincial
record Rainbow Trout on August 14th at Lake
Diefenbaker. Farden's catch - weighing a
monstrous 30 lb. 7oz. - was brought in on
10 lb. test line and mesured 37 7/8 inches
with a girth of 26 3/4 inches. The fish has
been entered and after official verification
has been declared a new provincial record
for Rainbow Trout on 10 lb test line. Helping
Farden out in the boat were Curtis and Cecil
Andrew.
